…for my crass promotion of our RiffTrax Election Day Sale.  If you’re tired of hearing Wolf Blitzer say “key battleground states” take a little break and give it a try.

Includes the little-known “CAPTAIN AMERICA!”

And remember to um, have gotten out and voted today.

Rifftrax’s Captain America commentary is on sale! Yay!

Loki’s Plan for the end of the world.

The way to my heart is through Shaun of the Dead references

TESS. OH MY GOD. I’m gonna die. this is the best.

If Hulk beats Loki into the ground to the beat of Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now” this would be the best plan for anything ever.

Taking a break from animating because I finally figured out what Cobie Smulders’s bit on the gag reel reminded me of.

… Which of course made me sad. So I had to cheer myself up.

IRON MAN commentary w/ Jon Favreau and Robert Downey Jr.
This was recorded, dang, way, way back in 2008, during a screening hosted in LA, with Jon Favreau doing live commentary alongside the film (and later, surprise guest RDJ). It was pretty rad.
Anyway, I realized I never shared my recording of it beyond some old school LJ friends, and since I’m such a goddamn sucker for this movie and I’m so stupid excited about IM3, now seemed liked a good time as any!
So. Um, click on the link or the image above and it should take you to a mediafire site. If mediafire doesn’t work where you’re at, give me a heads up and I’ll upload it elsewhere!
Some fun tidbits include:

-Favreau had a little help from his friends: when they weren’t rewriting the script on the spot, they called upon pals like Shane Black (screenwriter, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang), Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) and JJ Abrams (Star Trek, Lost) for a last minute helping hand.
-The reason why Tony Stark was sporting those bitchin’ shades during the weapons demonstration speech at the beginning of the movie? RDJ rewrote the speech right before filming, and Favreau could see his eyes reading the cue cards, so cue the shades.
-Next time you watch the film, pay attention to the first guy that gets smacked into the wall when Tony Stark suits up for the first time in the cave: that’s totally Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave) who not only provided the guitars for the soundtrack, but played the role of cannon fodder as well.
-The big explosion at the end of the film not only destroyed Obadiah, but over $180,000 in lighting and equipment as well.
-Originally the two robots, affectionately dubbed “Dummy” and “Butter” by Tony Stark, were merely props, but RDJ’s ad libbing with them on the set was too funny, Favreau decided to expand their roles. Hence some of the best bits in the film, including the ongoing fire extinguisher joke and one of the robots literally saving the day.

Also, for the love of pete, belated apologies for the manic giggling of the person recording. That person is me, and it is the worst.
EDIT: Sendspace link as well, as I hear non-US folks sometimes have trouble with Mediafire!
